Turnov, where the live feed comes from, was founded in the 13th century on the Jizera River. The city became famous for the production of jewelry and the processing of precious stones. In addition, Turnov is the starting point for a trip to the Bohemian Paradise nature reserve, surrounded by forests and rocks.
Nowadays, as in the distant past, in Turnov with the live camera, there is a lot of work in jewelry workshops: garnet is processed and works of art are created from glass. Here there is the first art school in Europe of jewelry producing and stone processing. The city is full of shops where you can buy jewelry.

On the main square of Turnov online, there is an old church dedicated to Francis of Assisi, built in 1651. There is a sculpture of St. Francis on its facade. Nearby there is a monastery building, which now belongs to the Czech post office.
The oldest attraction in Turnov, whose center is shown online, is the 13th century St. Nicholas Church. The monumental high tower of the cathedral is visible from all points of the city. Inside the church found a peace one of the owners of the city – Wartenbergs, who have owned it since the 16th century.
