This webcam shows the beach next to the beautiful and frequently visited Punta Nizuc underwater reef, located south of Cancun. Punta Nizuc, where the live stream comes from, is a national park made up of coral breaks. It is home to 235 species of algae and sea grasses, as well as turtles and manatees. The area where the online camera is located is surrounded by jungle, mangrove forests and coastal vegetation. Punta Nizuc is famous for its 500 underwater sculptures Musa, created in 2009 by the artist Jason Decker Taylor.

At a distance of 25 km from the city center, the beach of which is visible in the online camera, is the El Rey archaeological zone. It is a complex of ruins with a Mayan temple, an ancient observatory, and the important society members’ burial places.

From Cancun online, it is easy to get to the ancient cities of Chichen Itza and Tulum.
