Important historical monuments are the ruins of the ancient city wall of Van du Moulin, as well as a maze of 20,000 St. Pietersberg Caves.
Of great interest are the medieval "old town" burgher houses, narrow streets, bridges, the ancient city gates, the Town Hall and the symbol of the city - the Basilica of Saint Servatius.
In Maastricht, the center of which is shown by an online camera, there are many museums: the Episcopal Museum, the Museum of Art and Antiquities, the Bonnefanten Art Museum. As well as a beautiful Romanesque basilica of Onze Lieve Vrouwe.

This religious building appeared on the site of a 14th-century chapel in front of the Basilica of Saint Servatius. Since 1632, it belongs to the Netherlands Reformed Community. The brightest element of the Jan's Church is the 70-meter tower.
Gothic Dominican church with elements of romance was built in the late 13th century. Its north side is decorated with beautiful arches with the oldest 14th century frescoes in the Netherland with a works of Thomas Akinsky. Now in the church there are various celebrations. After the restoration there is a bookstore inside.
