Ribeira Beach

In this PTZ webcam you can see the beautiful beach of Ribeira (Praia Da Ribeira), which occupies the center of the coast of the city of Cascais.

Ribeira beach, shown online, is covered with sand, and the coastal waters have a gentle slope, so it is comfortable for everyone to relax here, including families with small children. You can rent umbrellas on the beach in live broadcast, there is also a shower and toilet.

The Cascais touristic center includes the old city, filled with a historical and architectural ensemble, as well as a crowded pedestrian area with cafes and restaurants.

The main attraction of Cascais is its kilometer-long beaches, one of which, Ribeira, is shown in an online live camera. The largest and most famous beach in the city is Guincho, chosen by surfers, windsurfers, kitesurfers.

The most striking attraction in Cascais online, is the spectacular Palacio de Conde de Castro Guimaraes Palace, which houses a museum library with a collection of 25,000 books, among which there are rare items. Also here there are prehistoric finds from the underground caves of Grutas de Alapraia.

A very interesting natural attraction is the Grutus do Poço Velho grottoes located in the city center.

The most unusual and popular attraction, a real miracle of nature, located west of the city of Cascais in the webcam, is the ominous cave Boca do Inferno (“Mouth of Hell”).

Cascais has a temperate marine climate. The swimming season lasts from May to October.
