Also, Irkutsk has the largest number of baroque churches in Siberia.

Sukachev is the oldest and richest art museum in Siberia with a collection of works of art by the Irkutsk public figure Vladimir Sukachev. The Irkutsk Regional Museum of Local Lore is notable for its exposition – “The History of the Irkutsk Region from the Paleolithic to the Present Day.”

Museum-Estate of the Decembrist Trubetskoy, opened in 1970, is connected with the Trubetskoy family. Here you can get acquainted with the life of the famous Decembrist. The estate of another Decembrist – S. G. Volkonsky, is also of great interest.

Irkutsk Mineralogical Museum named after Sidorov A.V. is one of the five best mineralogical museums in Russia with a collection of minerals from the Irkutsk region online, and minerals from around the world (1,500 species).

An interesting attraction of Irkutsk, which panorama is clearly visible in the online live camera, is the Angara icebreaker, the only vessel from the first icebreaking vessels that has survived in Russia to this day.
