In this webcam, you can see the main square of the Swedish city of Laholm – Stortorget, appeared in 1794.
Town Square you see in a live feed is the central meeting point in Laholm. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants, as well as the white town hall of the 18th century, located on the left in the online camera.
The live broadcast does not show, but on the Stortorget square in a webcam there is the Lagafontänen fountain, created by John Lundquist in 1933.
Laholm
The city of Laholm, whose square is shown in a webcam, is located in the south-west of Sweden, along the Kettegat Strait, in Halland County. Laholm is one of its oldest cities in that terriroty.
There are amazingly beautiful nature, clean air, plenty of forests, ancient quiet streets, well-preserved architectural monuments, cozy small houses, ancient buildings and friendly people.
Laholm, showed online, is poor with attractions. The most striking of them are the “Girl with birds in her hair” fountain, the local old church, and the Laholm Museum of Drawings.
Halland
The province of Halland, where the city of Laholm is broadcasted live on the Baltic Live Cam website, is the historical territory of the southwestern part of Sweden, the Götaland region. Halland borders the provinces: Västergötland in the north, Småland in the east and Skåne in the south. From the west, this area is washed by the waters of the Kattegat Strait.
In Halland, where the web cam is located, there are four rivers: Viskan, Etran, Nissan and Lagan.
Halland’s central city is Halmstad – a port, university and industrial city at the mouth of the Nissan River.
The main highlight that attracts tourists to Halland you see online, is its unique nature. Endless sandy beaches stretch here. The resort of Varberg, where there is also webcam on Baltic Live Cam website, is especially popular. There are high cliffs filled with bright multi-colored wooden houses and a picturesque view of the north coast.
