There is a beautiful live broadcast on the quay of the resort town of Alanya, located near the Mediterranean Sea in Turkey. The city of Alanya is rich in sights: towers, ancient fortresses, mosques and other interesting facilities. There are also natural sights, the main of which are the caves of Alanya with stalactites, stalagmites and underground lakes.
Speaking of Alanya, which coast you can see in our webcam, you should definitely mention its beautiful beaches with well-developed infrastructure. Almost all the beaches of Alanya are awarded the Blue Flag.
The most famous and picturesque beach of Alanya is the sandy-pebbled beach “Cleopatra“, which occupies 2 kilometers. It is necessary to take into account the fact that the entrance here is not flat, on the contrary, it is very steep. Therefore, families with small children should not go here. But the “Keykubat” beach is just perfect for families with children. The sea is shallow and calm. An interesting resting place is “Damlataş” with a curious “Damlataş Cave” with ancient colorful stalactites and stalagmites inside. You can visit the city beach of “Portakal”. There are bars and cafes, as also you can rent a deck chair and use the services of water attractions.
The most important attraction of Alanya, which our online webcam demonstrates perfectly, is the Kızıl Kule Tower of 13th-century.
Another interesting attraction is the Byzantine Ichkale castle, located on a hill high. Now on the territory of this fortress there are residential villas of the 19th century.
Other interesting historical sites include the Sultan Alâeddin Keykubad I mosque, which was rebuilt by Sultan Süleymân in the 16th century; the Aksib Turbesi mausoleum and the shipyard in Tersane.
There are museums in Alanya: the Ethnographic Museum, the Archaeological Museum, as well as the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk museum, built in honor of the Ottoman and Turkish reformer and politician.
Visit the Lovers’ Cave (Asiklar Magarası) and the Phosphorous Cave (Fosforlu Magarası), as well as the Pirates Cave (Korsanlar Magarası), which can only be reached by sea.
At a distance of 15 km from Alanya, which beach zone you can see in the online webcam, there is Sharapsa Khan, built on the Great Silk Road in 1236-1248 by order of Kaykhusraw II for connecting Alanya and Konya.
