Hunat Hatun complexKayseri , Turquía
The Hunat Hatun complex of Kayseri, which is clearly visible on our online webcam, was built in 1246 in memory of Mahperi Hatun - the wife of Sultan Alâeddin Keykûbad. The complex includes a mosque, a hammam and a main building.
Currently, the main building is occupied by shopping arcades, but there is a room- museum. The mosque in our live broadcast is the part of the complex and the largest mosque built during the Seljuq times. Tourists can visit Hunat Hatun burial place. There are excursions often held in the complex. To get to the tomb its possible through the secret passage only.
Hunat Hatun, was very beautiful, that is why she got the name Mahperi (Magic Moon).
