Cachoeira Park, mentioned above, is also known for its parties that are organized right on its territory. The largest and most famous in the region is the Festa do Pêssego, which gathered more than 50,000 people in 2007.

The “Solidarity Village” (Aldeia da Solidariedade) with houses made of sagging logs, hammered together from pine trunks, is open for visiting. They were built by the first Polish settlers, so these buildings strongly resemble the architecture of their homeland. On the territory of the village there is a chapel, a pigsty, a barn and a straw chopper, as well as a multifunctional sports center and a large green area at the bottom of the valley near the city center in this online camera.
