Extremely strong hurricane Ophelia struck Ireland Monday morning with wind gusts of up to 80 miles(128km/h) per hour and left hundreds of people without electricity. United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland are not used for those types of storms and it is considered to be the strongest hurricane for previous 50 years. Ireland’s weather service issued its first red alert for severe weather throughout the country. Already named three victims of an Ophelia storm. Schools and colleges are closed and people are advised to stay at home.
