Coogee beach

The webcam shows one of the popular beaches of the Australian capital, the city of Sydney – Coogee beach.

The live-streamed coastal zone is protected by a rocky island called Wedding Cake Island, making it an ideal swimming spot for families with children and a quieter holiday option than the nearby Maroubra Beach.

Coogee beach, in this live cam, has a rocky pool at the north end (Giles Baths) and an artificial rocky pool at the south end of the beach (Ross Jones Memorial Baths). Just a short walk south of the beach area showed in real time, along the coastal path there are two of Sydney’s most spectacular ocean basins, the McIvers Baths (women and kids only) and Wylie’s Baths.

Coogee Beach, which you see online, is located on the famous Sydney’s Coastal Walkway from Bondi Beach to Maroubra Beach. Coogee Beach has grown from a daytrip destination in the early 1800s to one of Sydney’s most visited beaches. The lively Coogee Bay Road is nearby, with many great restaurants, cafes and ice cream shops.

There are parks and reserves around Coogee Beach in live camera, ideal for picnics with a variety of BBQ facilities and playgrounds.

Just a five minute walk south of Coogee Beach, which the webcam is pointing at, is the Trenerry Nature Reserve.

Sydney

It is interesting to visit the famous Sydney Aquarium with giant rays and sharks. Sydney you see in web camera, is well located on the picturesque banks of one of the largest and most beautiful bays of the world, always dazzling with bright colors, positive energy and a good mood.

The suburbs of Sydney are adorable. Drowning in greenery areas near the Pitwater Bay-Mona-Vale, Newport, Avalon, Palm Beach, great places to relax.

Climate

The climate in Sydney, where there is live broadcast comes from, is subtropical-oceanic. It is quite dry and hot in summer with a temperature of about + 30C (from December to February) and warm winter  from + 15  till + 20C (from June to August) with abundant rainfall. At night it can get cold up to + 5C. The water temperature is the most favorable at the end of January and February. The beaches of Sydney during this period are overcrowded.
