Semmering Ski Resort

There is a live broadcast of the oldest ski resort in Austria – Semmering. This resort is located in the small Alpine town of Austria, not far from the capital, the city of Vienna.

Semmering ski resort is famous for its World Cup alpine skiing competitions. There are excellent snow ski slopes of various complexity levels and excellent infrastructure that allows you to ride both day and night in the most comfortable conditions.

In the Semmering resort, which is perfectly demonstrated by our webcam on line, there are 2 ski areas: Hirschenkogel and Stuhleck.

The season of ski entertainment begins in mid-November and ends in the end of March – beginning of April. At the resort in our live broadcast there are lifts of different types: cabin, chair and drag. There is a rental point for all necessary ski and snowboard equipment.

Besides the mountain skiing opportunity, in Semmering you can also do a cross-country skiing. The length of the cross-country ski trail is 20 km. Families with children will love the 3 km long sledge hill.

Being in the resort of Semmering, everybody will find something interesting for him. You can go ice skating, spend time in the pool, play curling, golf or tennis. Also, there are open tracks for climbers and pedestrians’ tracks. There is Amusement Park in Semmering too.

Semmering Ski Resort, which you see in our webcam, is a transit point of the oldest European mountain railway. The longest railway stretch is included in the UNESCO heritage list.

There is an interesting attraction in Semmering: the modern cable-way Magic Mountain Xpress. On this road you can climb to the peak of the mountain with an observation tower.

Semmering, which is clearly visible in our webcam, is also a SPA resort.
