There is the beautiful live view from San Cristobal hill, located in the capital of Chile, the city of Santiago. The mountain height is 860 m. At the very top of San Cristobal hill is a statue of the patroness of Santiago – the Virgin Mary (36 meters). Our webcam demonstrates the view from the observation platform: you can see the panorama of the magnificent city of Santiago in all its glory.
Near the observation platform there is “Metropolitano” park with a botanical garden, where you can get acquainted with the flora of South America and the equator. A zoo and a unique wine museum are open for visitors here also.
At the foot of San Cristobal hill there is the memorable gallery of Nobel laureate Pablo Neruda. Nearby is the Bellavista quarter, called the “Chilean Montmartre”.
The location of our webcam gives the great opportunity to see the majestic Andes in clear weather.
