There is a live broadcast on one of the most popular winter resorts in Latvia – the “Eglukalns” ski resort, located on the highest mountainous terrain called the Augšzeme upland of Daugavpils Territory, 220.1 m high relative to sea level.

At the very top of the Augšzeme upland, covered with spruce forest, there is a special place for an excellent winter holiday with a beautiful panoramic view to the hills of the Svente Nature Park and its surroundings. You can come here completely free and on any day you wish.

There is the ski resort base “Eglukalns”, perfectly visible in our webcam, located on the mountain.

Every winter season, the “Eglukalns” resort in our live stream camera provides excellent opportunities for skiing and snowboarding fans from Daugavpils region and guests from Riga and other Latvian cities.

There are 3 ski trails in “Eglukalns”: slalom, family and snow tubing. The slalom ski trail has 2 slopes 400 m long with springboards. Therefore, this route is suitable only for experienced snowboarders and professional skiers. There is a lift here.

The family slope of the “Eglukalns” resort you see in our online webcam is perfect for inexperienced guests. The mountain descent is quite easy here. Besides, there are many instructors on the family slope.

The Snow tubing trail is full of adventure! You can have a great speed on this route and get an excellent adrenaline portion. There is a lift here also.

There are huge equipment rental facilities in «Eglukalns» ski resort. There are also comfortable places for an open air picnic here. On the territory of «Eglukalns» there is a cafe where you can warm up with a cup of hot tea.
