Jasna Ski resort

The live broadcast perfectly shows the ski resort of “Jasna”, located at the foot of the northern slopes of Mount Chopok in the territory of the national park. Jasna, shown in the webcam, has excellent conditions for skiing in Slovakia. This winter skiing complex is an international tourism center of the first category. Major national and international alpine skiing competitions are held here as part of the European Cup.

On the territory of the resort of “Jasna”, where the online stream takes place, there are free bus runs, as well as an aqua-skibus”, which goes from the ski complex to the water park of “Tatralandia”.

Jasna resort, which slopes you can see in the webcam, offers 57 km of trails on the northern and southern slopes of Chopok. There are four conventional ski areas: Otupne (1140-1430 m) – for beginners; Zahradky (1030-1450 m) – “red” routes running from Konski Grun and Prehiba; Chopok North (1230-2020 m) – most of them are “red” slopes, several are “black”, the length of routes is up to 2 km; Chopok South (1160-2020 m) – “red” and “black” slopes.

The main and most interesting tracks of Jasna are equipped with snow cannons. There are trails for skiing in the evenings.

In the ski resort in the live camera there is the most modern in Slovakia “Snow Park”, appeared in Otupne. At the top there are slopes for beginners, and the lower level there is sloped with difficult drops for experienced boarders.

The country’s largest children’s snow park Maxiland operates on the territory of Jasna. Here you can learn to ride with experienced instructors.

Often at the bottom of the Chopok North region, spruce and pine trees can be found. Also sometimes there are one and a half meter boulders built to trap snow. Therefore, skiers must be careful and especially attentive.

Besides the excellent skiing in the Jasna resort, shown online, there is a lot to see and visit. For example, the Demänovská Cave of Liberty and the Demänovská Ice Cave, the Slovak Museum of Nature Protection and Speleology Liptovský Mikuláš, the Art Gallery named after P. Bohunya, water park “Tatralandia”, Liptov Village Museum Pribylina, wooden articular church of St. Krizh, archaeological area of ​​Celtic culture of Havranok.
