Playa del Ingles, which you see online, is the most popular beach in Gran Canaria. It is located in the south. Translated into Spanish, the name of the resort means “English beach”. Playa del Ingles in the web camera, belongs to the municipality of San Bartolome de Tirajana.  The active development of the Playa del Ingles area began in the 1960s. New houses were built and many were restored.
