This live broadcast perfectly shows the unique village of Arc 1950, set in stunning alpine scenery. The magnificent Savoyard architecture of the settlement, which you see in the PTZ webcam, organically blends with the surrounding mountains, as evidenced by the magnificent view of Mont Blanc, also captured by the online camera.
As can be clearly seen in real time, the Arc 1950 has no cars at all. Everything here is created to make you feel surrounded by beauty and tranquility in the bosom of nature with family and friends.
The webcam allows you to enjoy the view of Mont Blanc and the traditional atmosphere of the Alpine village of Arc 1950, belonging to the French ski resort Les Arcs, located in Bourg Saint Maurice, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Thanks to their high altitude, Arc 1950 and its neighbor Arc 2000 offer the best skiing opportunities in the safest place.
The Les Arcs ski resort, the center of which you see online, is a prime example of advanced snowboarding and off-piste skiing in Europe. It has several parts located at different heights:
- Les Arcs 1600
- Les Arcs 1800
- Les Arcs 2000
- Les Arcs 1950
All of them are united by a common lifts network. Also, they are connected by road and ski slopes.
Les Arcs is home to a popular international downhill slope with an incline of up to 75.
Slopes for beginners are located in the Arc-1800 area. The tracks on the Arc-1600 m are quite steep, and on the Arc-2000 m there is always crowded.
Experienced skiers and snowboarders will delight the slopes of the Aiguille Rouge (3226 m) in the Arc 2000 area. The northern slope is occupied by the Flying Kilometer track for ski speed records setting. The other side of the mountain is equipped with interesting tracks “Arandelieres” and “Grand Col” (descent from 3000 m).
The smooth slopes of Les Arcs amaze any snowboarder. Arc-1800 has a fan park with fan-boxes, pyramids, half-pipe and boardercross tracks of various difficulty levels. Arc 2000 also has a 180-meter half-pipe. In addition, the resort shown in the live webcam offers ample opportunities for off-piste skiing.
In Les Arcs, where there is an online broadcast from, there are excellent opportunities for night skiing. Each station is equipped with one lighted track, and an illuminated half-pipe operates in Arc-2000.
Besides the excellent skiing opportunities, Les Arcs has cinemas, bars, restaurants, night discos, bowling alley, two outdoor skating rinks (in Arc-1800 and Arc-2000). There is an indoor pool and sauna in Bourg St Maurice – a town at an altitude of 1000 m.
For children, the resort in live stream offers the kindergarten Les Pomme de Pin – a nursery from 1 to 3 years old, a kindergarten – from 3 to 6 years. A kindergarten Les Marmottons was opened at Arc-2000.
