It is believed that here a person feels calm and happiness from the indulgent mercy of Allah. Rauda is surrounded by: Aisha’s room – the mother of all the faithful, Mohammed’s minbar, a wall with a mihrab and a passage that connects this place with the edge of Aisha’s house.

Interesting facts about the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi mosque

– The building of the shrine houses a large collection of the most valuable and rare Islamic books and the Masjid al-Nabawi library, which was first mentioned in 1256 after a fire. The library was later restored.
– Every day, 120 tons of zamzam water from Mecca is brought to the Mohammed Mosque, which is poured into reservoirs. Plastic tanks are filled with it and placed inside the shrine. During the hajj period, the volume of water delivered to Masjid al-Nabawi more than doubles.
