YUNOKAMI-ONSEN STATION

The Yunokami-Onsen station that is captured here on live camera online is in Shimogou town in Japan. On the one side it is lined with trees, and on the other, you can catch a glimpse of the bell tower and the station house on the webcam. It is on the Aizu Railway line and is operated by Aizu Railway. It is situated approximately 22.7 rail kilometers from the starting point of the railway line, Nishi-Wakamatsu Station. In April and May, the Yunokami-Onsen railway station is surrounded by cherry blossoms which can be seen in the webcam in Japan footage.

Ouchijuku was an old post town on the Aizu-Nishi Kaido trade route in the Edo Period. A fifteen-minute walk takes you to the Takakura Shrine devoted to the guardian deity of the district. Prince Mochihito of the 12^th-century Imperial family is enshrined in the Takakura shrine. The shrine is situated in a lovely cedar forest with a magnificent 800-year old cedar tree measuring 56 meters in height.
