Mountain hut on Mount Geldingafell

In the webcam you can see one of the mountain huts located on Mount Geldingafell in western Iceland. The estimated height of the terrain in the live broadcast above the level of compaction is 657 meters.

The mountain peak in the live camera is located next to the Langjökull glacier – the second largest in the country, where the online stream is conducted from. Beneath the ice of Langjökull lie two volcanic systems, the western and the eastern.
