Morecambe, where the online camera is located, is a city on the coast of the Morecambe Bay, in the Irish Sea, in Lancashire, North-West England, 86 km north of Liverpool.
Morecambe was founded in 1889, when the settlements of Poulton-le-Sands and Torrisholme were united. The city got its name in honor of Morecambe Bay, which the live camera is aimed at.
