In our online camera there is one of the most famous street in the city of Münster – Prinzipalmarkt Street. The small but attractive street in our webcam is a real hallmark of the German city.
On the Principalmarkt Street, where the live stream is from, there are 48 buildings, occupying 230 meters. The facade of each building that is shown online is unique.
In the past, the Principalmarkt Street in our online live HD camera was called Marktstraße. It was renamed at the beginning of the 17th century, and since then it wears the name of Principalmarkt.
For many centuries, the street in our webcam has served as the economic and political center of the city. It housed several important institutions, for example, the Gothic city hall of the 14th century – the symbol of Münster.
In November-December, at Principalmarkt Street, which you can see well online, there is Christmas market.

From the modern structures, it is interesting to get to know the Signal-Iduna Building – the first high-rise building in the city.
Muenster, the main street of which is shown by our webcam, also has its own Pinkus Müller brewery.
