Fateh Sagar Lake overflow

This live webcam feed shows the famous overflow channel from Lake Fateh Sagar in Udaipur, the Indian state of Rajasthan.

The Maharana Fateh Singh artificial lake that you see online appeared in 1680 north of Lake Pichola.

Fateh Sagar, where the webcam is located, is surrounded by the Aravalli Range. The lake is not only a bright tourist attraction, but also the main source of drinking water for the townspeople. After nightfall the overflow is turning into an illuminated stream.

In the North of the city palace there is the Central Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Vishnu, the creator of the Universe. At the entrance, in a freestanding tower, stands a golden figure – this is his assistant, the Garuda man eagle, devouring a serpent and symbolizing the Sun.

Udaipur is a city of parks and lakes with tourist boats. The largest number of parks are surrounded by Lake Fateh online, which water flow is well demonstrated in this live camera.

The beautiful Nehru Park with palm trees, fountains and rose bushes is located on an island in the middle of the aforementioned lake.

The outskirts of Udaipur are a protected area, where a certain fee is charged. Here, on a high mountain, there is a museum with animals and birds under protection.
