In this webcam you can see a small harbor for pleasure craft located on the island of Murter in Croatia.

The city of Jezera online is located in the bay of the same name on the southeast coast of the island of Murter. It is known as one of the most well-groomed settlements in the country. In addition, Jezera in the online camera is a place of fishermen and sailors with a crystal clear sea, authentic customs, quiet cobbled streets and a rich past, rooted in antiquity.

For the fifth year in a row, the resort in the live camera has received the Blue Flower of the Croatian Tourist Board, the country’s most prestigious landscaping award. Murter

Murter, where the live broadcast is conducted from, is an island in the central part of Croatia, washed by the waves of the Adriatic Sea. It is located very close to the Dalmatian coast. The nearest settlements lie a little to the west – these are Vodice and Sibenik.

Like most of the other islands of the Adriatic, Murter in the web cam was inhabited in ancient times. Near modern Betina there was an Illyrian-Roman settlement Kolentum. The island was first mentioned in 1318 – then it was called Murter. The total area of ​​the archipelago is 18.6 sq. km, and the population is more than 5 thousand people.

The territory of the island in the online camera includes four cities – tourist sites with developed infrastructure: Tisno, where there is also a live broadcast on the Baltic Live Cam website, Jezera online, Betina and Murter.

Thus, the settlement of Tisno is known for its large-scale annual holidays in honor of the Mother of God. Jezera is the smallest town on the whole island, named after the large lakes that form as a result of heavy rains in autumn and winter. In spring and summer, these lakes dry up. Modern Jezera in a webcam is a typical village of fishermen and farmers.

The highest point of the picturesque island in the online broadcast is Mount Raduch (more than 120 m above the sea coast). Murterin the online cam is separated from the Dalmatian coast by a narrow strait no more than 20 meters wide. The island is connected to the mainland by a drawbridge, 8 km from the neighboring resort of Vodice.

Murter Island, where the webcam is located, has gained fame as a beach resort. Such sports as windsurfing, diving, water skiing are very popular on its territory. Sailing enthusiasts also aspire here. For them, a full-fledged yacht club is equipped here right on the waterfront.

The island in the online live camera is rich in picturesque coves. The beaches are mostly pebbly or sandy, but there are also rocky ones.

In the western part of Murter there is the Kornati archipelago, officially declared a national park. Kornati is separated from Murter by a bay – the Murter Sea.
