St John’s Harbour
The webcam is located on the island of Newfoundland, belonging to the province of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada. There is a live stream on the harbour of the city of St. John’s – the capital of the province. On the left bank of the bay, in our webcam, you can see a Signal Hill, where in 1901 was received the first wireless transatlantic transmission over the wireless telegraph device of Guglielmo Marconi.

The city of St. Johns, where live webcam is located, is the capital of Labrador and Newfoundland in Canada. St. Johns is situated in the south-east of Newfoundland on the Atlantic coast.

The oldest street in the city of St. Johns and all of North America is considered to be Water Street. If you take a stroll through the harbour of St. Johns, which is visible in our webcam, you will not pass by the beautiful old buildings in Victorian style. There are also many shops and restaurants. From the side of the harbour, as mentioned above, there is a Signal Hill with the 19th century “Cabot” tower.

The main attraction of the city of St. Johns, which you can see online, is the Cathedral of St. Johns the Baptist with snow-white towers, built in the middle of the 19th century.
