Bol

The town of Bol online, is the oldest settlement and popular tourist destination located in the south of the island of Brač in Croatia. The coast of the city is washed by the Adriatic Sea. Bol lies at the foot of the Bolska Kruna mountain range (778 m above sea level). The town of Bol got his real name from the Latin word “vallum”, meaning “fortification”.

The population of Bol, which sea port is visible in webcam, is very small, only 1600 people. In the past, Bol was a small fishing village, but in the 20s of the 20th century it began gradually turning into a tourist resort.

The climate in the city of Bol online, is Mediterranean. Summer is warm and dry, with an average temperature of 26C – 34C. In winter is quite warm and humid. The best time to travel to Bol is July and August.
