Flag Square (Praça das Bandeiras)

Praça das Bandeiras in this webcam is located in the center of the city of Guaruja, opposite the Praia das Pitangueiras beach, which you can also see in the live camera. Bars and restaurants are located near the Square of the Flags in a live broadcast.

On Praça das Bandeiras, shown in the online broadcast, a craft fair (Feira de Artesanato) is periodically organized with the participation of local craftsmen. The event is held from Thursday to Sunday from 16:30. Sometimes you can meet street musicians.

The Square of Flags in the web camera will soon be updated: it is planned to install flower beds and organize a garden, there will be playgrounds, benches and garbage cans.

Guaruja

Guaruja, where the live stream is broadcasted, is a resort city by the Atlantic Ocean in the southeast of Brazil, located 87 km southeast of the center of São Paulo, near the city of Santos.

Ilhabela

Ilhabela in this webcam is an archipelago and the city of the same name, located about 2.5 km from the coast of Brazil, 200 km southeast of Sao Paulo and 390 km south of Rio de Janeiro.

The archipelago consists of the largest island of Ilha de São Sebastião or Ilhabela, where the online broadcast comes from, and several small islands – Búzios, Pescadores and Vitória.

On the main island, as it is shown online, there are several small towns, including Ilhabela with well-preserved traces of the colonial past.
