In this webcam you can see Lake Mamry, one of the famous Masurian Lake District in Poland.

Mamry, shown online, is very popular among lovers of sailing, fishing and just great outdoor recreation.

In this live broadcast you see moored small vessels: yachts, catamarans, boats.

The terriroty of the Masurian Lakes includes 2,000 lakes connected by 12 channels, 8 rivers and three locks. All lakes, including the Mamry in an online camera, are surrounded by big forests with landscape parks and nature reserves. Masurian Lakes is a territory of unspoiled nature and an ideal place for a secluded and relaxing holiday.

Masurian Lakes District you see in web cam, is concentrated around the two largest lakes in Poland – Snyardva and Mamry, shown in an online live camera.

In the area of Masurian Lakes, from where the live feed is coming from, there is the “Belovezhskaya Pushcha” National Park. It is a biosphere reserve of the relict forest and the habitat of the world’s largest bison population.

Besides Lake Mamry, which this webcam demonstrates well, the Masurian Lakes include such large water reservoirs as: Snyardvy and Niegocin. As well as large channels: Masurian and Elbląski. Popular resorts of the Masurian Lakes are: Gizycko, Mikołajki, Węgorzewo, Ryn, Pisz and Iława.

The live webcam on the Baltic Live Cam website is located in the Węgorzewo resort. In this town, as also in Gizycko and Mikołajki, is well developed water tourism by marinas and bays, one of which is shown in a webcam. In addition, there are many hotels, recreation centers and shops with equipment for water sports.

Gizycko

In the resort of Gizycko, it is worth paying attention to the turning bridge of 1889, the Boyen fortress and the neo-Gothic seven-story water tower of 1900. Today it houses a cafe with beautiful views of the town and lakes.

Mikołajki 

The most popular in Mikołajki is the Tropicana water park, which is part of a large leisure complex.

Olsztyn

The city of Olsztyn is the largest settlement in the region and the capital of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. This is one of the most popular ski resorts in Poland, where the live stream comes from. Of the sights of interest there are: Gothic Castle of the Warmia Chapter (the Museum of Warmia and Mazury), high gate – the main entrance to the Old Town, old city baroque town hall and the Cathedral of St. Jakub in the Gothic style.

Ryn

In Ryn tourists are attracted by the majestic Teutonic castle of the 14th century. Now the citadel houses a collection of the museum of local lore with more than 700 exhibits of ethnography, geology, archeology, art and literature. Other sights of Ryn are: 19th century evangelical chapel, granary of the 19th and 20th centuries, water mill, high-rise buildings of the 19th century and Dutch mill of 1873.

Pisz

Pisz is famous for its picturesque nature, fields, meadows, forests full of mushrooms and berries, crystal clear water of Lake Roś. The city has preserved: church of St. John, ruins of the crusader castle, one-story houses of the 18-19 centuries and the Protestant bishopric.
