In this webcam you can see the ferry port of the city of Bastia, located in the northeast of the island of Corsica. The harbor online is the one of the busiest and largest ferry seaports in all of France.
Near the harbor in the live camera there is the central square of the city – St. Nicholas Square the size of three football fields, a kind of meeting place for all local people. There are always a lot of tourists and residents at the square, walking slowly along the coast.
The best view of the port in the webcam is from the Jetee du Dragon.

Bastia
Bastia you see in live camera, is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Corsica and the entire Mediterranean. Moreover, it is a developed trade and commercial center of the island.
Bastia, where the webcam is located, was built in 1378 by the Genoese. The Bastia Fortress today is one of the main city attractions.
The convenient location of Bastia, whose port is shown live, has made the city a key settlement on the island.
In the city center there are old quarters called Terra Vechia (Old Land) – tall residential buildings and Baroque churches. The antipode to the old quarter is a new, actively developing and bright area of glass houses – Terra Nova (New Land).

At a distance of a kilometer from it, there are the quiet and calm beaches of La Marana, surrounded by pine groves. There is also the luxurious Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, which attracts attention with its expressiveness and complex labyrinth of medieval streets from all sides. Nearby there are the Jesuit Saint Charles Church and the Governor’s Palace with a collection of cultural and historical values of the city. A little further away there is the Ethnographic Museum.
Another temple of Sainte-Marie is adjacent to the chapel of Oratoire de la Confrérie de Sainte Croix. Another chapel – Oratory of Monserrato amazes with the church art of the Middle Ages.
Walking along the Jetee du Dragon trail, you can come to the southern lighthouse, where Terra Nova is located. Nearby, on the slope of the southern part of the old port, lies the beautiful Jardin Romieu garden.
