Dnipro

There is a beautiful online broadcast to one of the most developed cities in Ukraine – Dnipro.

The most striking attraction of the Dnipro, shown in a webcam, is Monastery Island, territorially related to the Taras Shevchenko Park of Culture and Recreation. From its observation deck you can see the city of Dnipro. On the island stands a monument to Taras Grigoryevich, as well as the Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas.

Besides the Monastery Island, the bright attraction of the city that you see in the live camera is the Dnipro Embankment, where also there is the online live feed on the Baltic Live Cam website. The embankment runs along the right bank of the Dnieper River for more than 23 km.

On the Cathedral Square of the Dnipro there are stone sculptures – bizarre Scythian “women“, the largest collection in Ukraine.

Near the Opera and Ballet Theatre is located the Color Fountain.

We recommend to visiti the Bogoroditskaya fortress and its ruins, located on the banks of the Samara River in the Shevchenko village.

In the center of Oktyabrskaya Square there is a diorama “Battle of the Dnieper” from 1975 with a viewing angle of 230 degrees.

In Dnipro, the view of which is opened in the online camera, there are several interesting churches: Bryanskaya (1913-1915), Nikolaevskaya (1807) and Transfiguration Cathedral (1830-1835), founded by Catherine II.

The Potemkin Palace of 1786 is also one of the most important sights. In addition, it is interesting to get acquainted with the Golden Rose Synagogue and the charming Swan Fountain.

Traveling along the Dnipro, where this live stream comes from, walk along the main pedestrian zone of the city – Yekaterinoslavsky Boulevard. Along it there are shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes. A special charm to this place give the beautiful fountains and stone benches.

Take a look at the Exhibition Centre of Makarov National Aerospace Youth Educational Center of 1996. The exhibits, stored here, are from real space stations and satellites to active combat missiles.

Another interesting attraction of the Dnipro in this webcam is the unique architectural ensemble of the Menorah Center. It is the largest Jewish complex in the world with seven towers. In the building there are open-centers for spending time, educational venues, conference rooms, museums, restaurants and a large concert hall. At 77 meters high, there is an observation platform with spectacular views of the city.

In Dnipro, the view of which is shown in this online camera, there is the famous metallurgical Interpipe Steel Plant, built “from scratch” in just 6 years. This is not only a major industrial center, but also a tourist attraction where excursions are held.

Climate

The Dnipro, where the live stream comes from, has a humid continental climate. The average annual air temperature is +9.0 C. The coldest month is January, when the average temperature drops to −3.6 C. In July, an average of about +22.1 C. Weather forecast in Dnipro for 7 days is available on the website online.
