Białogóra beach
In this webcam you can see the beach of the resort town of Białogóra located between the seaside towns of Krawią and Łebą, in the Coastal Landscape Park. As you can see in the live stream, the sandy beach is popular during the summer.
The Białogóra resort, where the online broadcast is coming from, is separated from the Baltic Sea by a strip of pine forest about 800 meters wide. At the distance 2.5 kilometers to the east there is the wooded dune.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Białogóra, featured in this webcam, became a seaside resort, offering accommodation on the seashore. The wide beach in live camera played an important role as a resort for the city. Now an asphalt road leads from the village to the beach through the forest, which can be walked. The last part of the path to the beach goes along the wooden deck you see online. The beach itself is guarded by lifeguards during the summer season, there is a water slide, beach cafes, toilets.
In Białogóra, where the webcam is located, there are excellent opportunities for cyclists: there are many trails and routes.
In the vicinity of the town of Białogóra with the beach online, there are nature reserves (for example, “Białogóra”), which protect the swamp forest and dunes along with shrubs. In addition, this is a nesting place for cranes, and there is a rich flora: three species of sundew, common waxworm or marsh heather. Another nature reserve, Rezerwat Babnica, is a part of an oak-beech forest growing on the slope of a dune with a 140-year-old historical stand.
Families with children in Białogóra will be interested in visiting a horse farm.
While in the live-streaming town, there is the opportunity to travel to nearby famous resorts such as Łeba, about 25 kilometers to the west, or to spend time in the Słowińskiego Parku Narodowego. To the east, just 20-30 km away, there is Karwia, Jastrzębiej Gór and the lighthouse in Rozewie, it is also interesting to visit the city of Władysławowo. A little further begins the legendary Helski peninsula with its iconic summer resorts: Chałupy, Kuźnica and Hel.
