Koktebel embankment

In the webcam, you can see the Koktebel Embankment – the center of attraction for the guests of the resort village. The promenade online is a well-maintained Morskaya street, which runs along the Koktebel Bay of the Black Sea, located between the reserved mountain Kara Dag and Cape Chameleon. The length of the Koktebel embankment in the online camera is just over 2 kilometers.

On the coast in the webcam, there are benches, a fountain and flower beds.

The live camera of the Koktebel embankment demonstrates the pedestrian part, the beach area and the Kara Dag Mountain.

In the center of the promenade in real time, there is a monument to the poet M.A. Voloshin. His house-museum is located nearby.

Koktebel

Koktebel, where the live broadcast is coming from, is a popular Black Sea resort in the southeast of Crimea, 20 km southwest of Feodosia, where there is also a webcam on the Baltic Live Cam website. The village is surrounded by mountains, and the volcanic massif Kara Dag adjoins Koktebel from the west. On the northern side, it is protected from cold winds by the Uzun-Syrt, Kuchuk-Yenishar and Tatar-Khaburga mountain ranges.

Koktebel, shown in the webcam, is rich in its beaches. The beach areas in Koktebel are mostly pebbly, but sand appears at the entrance to the sea.

The best beach in the vicinity of Koktebel is “Quiet Bay”, which served as a decoration for such films as: “Richard the Lionheart”, “Scarlet Sails”, “Don Quixote”, “The Man from the Boulevard of Capuchins”, “Kings and Cabbage”, “9 company “,” Pirates of the 20th century”.

The main attractions of Koktebel, where the online stream is conducted from, are its natural beauty. For example, the Karadag Reserve. During the visit, tourists on boats sail under the “Golden Gate” – rocks in the water at the base of the volcano. The reserve houses the Karadag Nature Museum with an exposition telling about the nature of the ancient mountain range. Climbing Mount Klementyev, it is interesting to enjoy the views of Koktebel.

Traveling to Koktebel in this online live camera, we advise to devote a few hours of walk to Cape Chameleon, protruded far into the sea. This unique cape changes color depending on the light level.

The house where the poet Maximilian Voloshin lived has survived in the village. Now it houses a literary and memorial museum named after him. Poetry evenings are often held in the Voloshin House-Museum, and once a year, during the International Literary Festival, writers and readers gather there. The burial place of the famous poet and artist is located on the Kuchuk-Yenishary Mountain east of the village. The top of this mountain offers a picturesque view of the city and its surroundings.
