The live broadcast demonstrates the oldest and most important tourist center of the Ivano-Frankivsk region – the city of Kolomyia online.
For the first time, the settlement in this webcam is mentioned in the Galicia–Volhynia annals in 1241.

In modern times, Kolomyia, shown in an online camera, is the city of Outer Subcarpathia, often visited by tourists. Here are houses and municipal buildings with original stucco molding and balconies.

One of the attractions of Kolomyia, the center of which you see in a live camera, is the old railway station of 1866. The other is the Grushevsky gymnasium of the early 20th century.

In Kolomyia, where is directed this webcam, there is an old Jewish Memorial Cemetery and Ohel (a traditional Jewish tombstone). The pavilion for prayers is located on the grave of G. B. Lichtenstein, the righteous and the chief rabbi of Kolomyia in the 20th century.

In the city where the online camera is located, there is the oldest Kolomyia Academic Ukrainian Drama Theatre named after Ivan Ozarkevych, received the status of a state institution in 1939.

A popular place for walking in Kolomyia, the central street of which is visible online, is Renaissance Square, located in the historical center of this settlement. Here stands the Taras Shevchenko monument of 1990.

In the city center in this webcam, there are religious buildings: Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Christ, Church of St. Michael the Archangel 1871, Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola 1897, Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker 1875, Church of the Holy Martyr Yosafat 1762, Annunciation (Spasskaya) Church, Nikolaev -Uspensky Cathedral.

Kolomyia, that you see online, gained fame thanks to its interesting museums: Yosafat Kobrinsky National Museum of Folk Art of Hutsul and Pokuttya Region, Pysanka Painting Museum, which has a live feed on the Baltic Live Cam website.
Other important sights of Kolomyia are: Town Hall in Kolomyia, Ivan Franko Monument, Museum of the History of the City, “People’s House”, and Humor Center “Merry House”.

Ivano-Frankivsk

The administrative center of Ivano-Frankivsk region, where the city of Kolomyia is located in this online camera, the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, is a charming village with many attractions.

The most interesting places of the city with the live camera are: Art Nouveau Town Hall building of 1935, Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of 1703, Jesuit Church and Monastery of the mid-18th century, from 1849 consecrated as a Greek Catholic Cathedral, Armenian Church of the 18th century, Trinitarian church and monastery, only Catholic Temple in the city – Church of Christ the Almighty of 1927, Temple Synagogue of the late 19th century.

It is interesting to walk to the Potocki Palace, served as a military hospital.

There are many interesting monuments in Ivano-Frankivsk, where the web cam is located: Adam Mickiewicz, Ivan Frank, the controversial monument to Stepan Bandera.

The most striking attraction of the city is the Carpathian National Park – the largest in Ukraine. It was founded in 1980.
