Gelderland in the webcam is a province in the central part of the Netherlands. Its southern territories are located in the lower reaches of the Meuse, Rhine and its branch of the Waal.

The name of the city in the online camera appeared thanks to the German town of Geldern, which was the capital of the county that seceded in 1079.

Another garden – “Apenheul”, is located on the outskirts of the city of Apeldoorn. On its territory you will meet free-roaming monkeys from Africa, South America and Asia. The garden is located in the Berg & Bos Nature Park. Monkeys are not at all afraid of people and move freely around the park.
