The miniature and very cozy Carabeo beach in our live broadcast is a popular vacation spot for locals. Despite its modest size, there is a good infrastructure: shower, toilet, recycle containers. The Carabeo beach, which is perfectly visible in our web camera online is located in a quiet bay surrounded by rocks. Usually it’s not crowded here at all. This recreation area seems a bit wild. To reach the Carabeo beach you need to walk on the steep steps, located at the end of the Carabeo Street, a few meters from the center of Nerja and near the popular observation platform “Balcony of Europe”.

Nerja

The city of Nerja with our web camera online, located on the Costa del Sol in the south of Spain. Is famous for its excellent beach holiday, beautiful nature and delicious Spanish cuisine. More quiet beaches are located outside the city. For example, El Playazo and El Chucho beaches. Popular beach of Las Alberquillas was chosen by nudists.

In addition to the sandy beaches, the entire Costa del Sol and Nerja itself has a picturesque countryside too. If you rent a car, it’s nice to visit the villages and taste authentic local dishes or ride horses there.

The central streets of Nerja are filled with people in the evenings, it is nice to stroll through the streets, laid down at the end of the 15th century, to sit in a restaurant or to attend an event.

In Nerja there is a well-known “Balcony of Europe”, viewing platform. Here it is convenient to admire the amazing view of the sea, meeting the sunset. Nearby, there are King Alfonso XII monument, the old Baroque style church (El Salvador) and a crowded promenade with souvenir shops and traditional delicacies.

The excursion to the unique caves of Nerja, located at a distance of 4 km from the city is especially fascinating. These caves create the impression of a huge cathedral, thanks to stalactites and stalagmites, located here. On the walls of the cave there are drawings of 27 thousand years edge are still preserved. In the summer, there are guided tours and concerts of classical music here. There is the unique acoustics of the main hall of the cave, due to its unusual geological structure. The weather in Nerja is always sunny. The climate is Mediterranean. Summer is the hottest time of the year, with an average air temperature of +30 ºC. Autumn and winter are soft, with an average temperature of +15 ºC. Spring is early. In March, the temperature reaches +20 ºC.
