The former mining village, emerged in the 19th century, now is the one of the main employment centers in this region. Thus, the former mining town that you see in the online camera is slowly reviving, attracting new businesses to the area. In the city center, called The Triangle, there are two beautiful sculptures - the city's war memorial and a statue of local miner Dave Harvey.
