Initially, the palace itself, which can also be seen online, was a luxurious gift from the Prussian King Frederick I to his wife Sophia Charlotte of Hanover. Later, it turned into a royal summer residence with a beautiful park online.
Charlottenburg Palace in the online camera – a pearl of architectural and landscape art, was badly damaged during the Second World War. Another interesting property – the Glienicke Palace served as the summer palace of Prince Karl of Prussia. The magnificent building is surrounded by a beautiful English park where the Glienicke Casino stands.
Of great interest to the guests of the German capital, where the live broadcast is conducted from, is the Grunewald Hunting Castle, the oldest castle in Berlin. It was built in 1542 on the shore of the Grunewaldsee lake. The citadel exhibits a collection of German and Dutch paintings of the 15th-19th centuries, among which there are several paintings by Lucas Cranach the Elder.
