This interesting live broadcast is from the famous Azoguejo Square (Plaza de Azoguejo). The aqueduct, which is perfectly visible on the web camera is one of the most famous monuments of Segovia, as well as the most significant monument of the Roman era. The design with 167 arches, perfectly broadcast in an online webcam, has more than 20,000 granite slabs, not fastened with any special cementing agent. The length of the structure is 818 meters.

The aqueduct in the Azoguejo square online, was built to provide water to the city located on a high hill. In the era of the Roman Empire, there were three highest arches signs of bronze with the names of the creators. Currently, two of them have retained their drawings. On one of the arches there is the image of Hercules of Egypt, who is considered the founder of the city of Segovia, the second – Virgin of Fuencisla (the patroness of the city) and the St. Stephen image.

In 1884 a beautiful historical building in the live camera, was recognized as a monument of national heritage. A bit later, in 1985, the Aqueduct received the status of World Heritage by UNESCO.
