Del Cura Beach in the webcam is one of the most popular among tourists due to its beauty and proximity to the center of Torrevieja.

The beach in the web camera got its name after the tragedy of 1870, when a priest drowned in the Mediterranean waters: “el cura” in Spanish is translated as a priest.

From the north and south, Torrevieja, the coast of which you see in the live webcam, is surrounded by mountain ranges that protect the city from strong cold winds. Also, thanks to the salt lakes, the climate in the resort is very mild and favorable. The number of sunny days in a year is approximately 320 days.
