Del Cura beach

Del Cura Beach in the webcam is one of the most popular among tourists due to its beauty and proximity to the center of Torrevieja.

The length of the coastline in the live broadcast is 325 meters, and the width is 27 meters. The entrance to the sea is gentle. Del Cura Beach, which you see in the online camera, is well-groomed and landscaped, on its territory there are summer showers, sun loungers, wooden decks, sun umbrellas, rescue and medical stations, a water entertainment area, water and beach equipment rental.

The beach in the web camera got its name after the tragedy of 1870, when a priest drowned in the Mediterranean waters: “el cura” in Spanish is translated as a priest.

Del Cura Beach, shown online, has borders on the south side with the Juan Aparicio promenade and on the north with Cape Margalla (Punta Margalla) or Cape Carral (Punta Carral).

Near the beach in a live stream, stands the Monument of Mediterranean Cultures, also known as the “Columns”, a private object for photo shoots.

In the summer, Del Cura in the webcam turns into a platform for the annual festival “Night of the Habanera on the Beach” (“Noche de Habaneras en la Playa”), during which you can listen to wonderful musical compositions.
