In this webcam you are provided with a great opportunity to see the beautiful harbour of the miniature English village and fishing port of Mevagissey. The town with this live broadcast is located in Cornwall County, occupying a small valley near Mevagissey Bay.
In the harbour that you see online there are both tourist boats and fishing boats.
The port, well shown in the live camera, appeared on the site of the medieval pier. The inner harbor was built at the end of the 18th century, and the outer at the end of the 19th century. In 1988, the port in this webcam received the charity trust status.
Mevagissey
The center of the village of Mevagissey, whose harbour is shown in the webcam, has narrow streets occupied by shops, restaurants and cafes.
Outside the center, on the steep slopes of the settlement, there are living houses that also fall into the lens of this online camera.
In Mevagissey there is a beautiful park, called Hitlers Walk.
The great tourist interest has Tremayne family estate – Heligan State, located on the steep slopes over Mevagissey online. There is the most famous UK botanical garden, The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Of the significant events in the small town, the port of which this online camera demonstrates well, it should be noted such an event as “Banquet Week”, which takes place in late June.
