The city of Sheringham in this webcam, is located in the northwest of Norfolk, England. Town, whose coastline you see online, includes two settlements: Upper Sheringham and Lower Sheringham.
Modern Sheringham, that you see online, is a thriving town with many shops and trades, as well as a famous market located next to the train station.
Of the attractions in the city, besides its magnificent beach in this online live camera, the Sheringham City Museum is worth attention. It is located in a former fishing lodge in the city center with this webcam. It houses a collection of unique boats built by local fishermen back in the 1880s. These exhibits are over 1.5 million years old.

An important religious and architectural landmark of Sheringham, that beach is well shown by webcam in live stream, is the St. Joseph’s Church. The temple was designed by the architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, who also invented the Battersea power plant, Liverpool Cathedral and the famous red telephone booth.
Saint Joseph’s Church began to be erected in 1902. By 1908, a chapel building appeared. In 1910 were built church, nave and porch. Later, the nave of the temple was expanded, and a second porch appeared. The completion of the structure fell on March 25, 1935. On the same day, the temple was consecrated.
