There is a live stream on the Parade Square (Plac Defilad), located in the center of Warsaw. The Parade Square, which you can see in the online camera, is one of the newest squares in the capital of Poland. It was built in the period from 1952 to 1955. In the past, Parade Square, perfectly demonstrated in live webcam, was the most popular venue for parades on behalf of the government of the Polish People’s Republic.

After changing the political system, Parade Square online, lost its direct purpose and for some time became a gigantic market place.

Interesting events from the recent history of Parade Square:
– On 14 June 1987, during the third apostolic journey to Poland, Pope John Paul II celebrated Mass in the square, ending the Second National Eucharistic Congress.
– During the UEFA Euro 2012, which Warsaw was a host city for, a large Fan Zone was located there.
