The picturesque village of Polperro in the webcam, located on the edge of the harbor online, was recognized as the prettiest in Cornwall. Here you will find narrow alleys, small beautiful shops, an amazing museum of fishing and smuggling, and walks on the water will leave many positive impressions.

The port town of Polperro in the online camera, even today, still resembles a quaint old Cornish fishing village. In the summer, many cottages are covered with an abundance of flowers, and the streets are so narrow that cars are not allowed on them. This makes Polperro in the web camera an ideal place for hiking.

In the center of Polperro, where the live broadcast is from, there are shops selling paintings, pottery, jewelry and many other souvenirs for tourists. There are also newsstands, bakeries and other shops with everyday items. In addition, in the town shown online, there are galleries and exhibitions of arts and crafts. Polperro, which you see in the live camera, holds an annual arts festival in June.  Polperro is famous throughout Cornwall for the “Fishermen’s Choir”.

At the entrance to the village where this live camera is located, opposite the main car park, there is the 14th century Crumplehorn Inn and Mill, which boasts an impressive restored waterwheel made up of 12 tons of rotating iron and wood.

Polperro, where the live stream is from, was known for smuggling in the 18th and early 19th centuries. In the Warren area, overlooking the harbor, there is the “Polperro Heritage Museum of Smuggling and Fishing”. The museum boasts a wonderful collection of artefacts and photographs from the time when smuggling and fishing flourished in Polperro. The museum occupies a factory formerly owned by the Teglio family from Italy. The village in the online camera has attracted many prominent artists and photographers since the late 19th century. Some of their work is exhibited in the museum.

Boat building has been one of the main activities in Polperro streamed online for many years. An exceptionally beautiful harbor in a webcam is a place that must be visited. Yachts are moored in a sheltered bay, and pleasure boats are ready to offer half-hour trips along the coast towards the port city of Fowey.

Polperro in the live webcam has a wild and rocky coast. Along the indented coastline is a natural pool used for swimming. In fact, at high tide there are one or two such places. At low tide, in suitable weather, a small beach appears, but the nearest good beaches are a few kilometers away. To the west lie the beaches of Lansallos and Lantic Bay.

In the east of Polperro in the live stream there is Talland Bay, which can be reached by car, as well as the coastal town of Looe. Further down the coast there are other good sandy beaches at Millendreath, Seaton and Downderry.
