Grunwaldzki Square
The live broadcast shows one of the central squares of Zywiec – Plac Grunwaldzki, located between Kościuszki, Podwale and Handlowa streets.
In 2005, the area in this webcam was rebuilt. For example, previously there was a spacious parking lot in the center, which was reduced due to the roundabout construction and the Grunwaldzki Square reconstruction. Also, earlier in the center of the square in the online camera there was a monument in honor of the Battle of Grunwald (1409-1411), but during the Second World War it was ruined.
On Grunwaldzki Square, from where there is a live feed, there are a restaurant, a bank and a Dom Centrum department store.
On the south side the Square of Grunwaldzki in web camera, there is a bus stop with connections to Jelenia and Korbielów.
Zywiec
The city of Zywiec, the center of which is shown by an online live camera, is located in the south of Poland, near Żywiec Lake. This settlement was first mentioned in the 14th century, after a castle with an interesting history – the Komorowski castle appeared on its territory. Zywiec castle managed to be both in the hands of several families and different states.
After the reconstruction of the citadel in the 17th century, its territory occupied 260,000 square meters, including a unique landscape park created in the 17th century. A special place in it is occupied by a miniature park with objects of the castle’s owners.
The negative consequences of the Second World War strongly affected Zywiec in the live camera: it was completely destroyed. In the middle of the 20th century, the city began to be restored.
To this day, in Zywiec, the area of which you can see in the webcam, only partially preserved its unique architecture. The old castle from the 14th century is the city’s museum.
An interesting landmark of the city in this online stream and an important tourist site is the Co-Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the 15th century. Also, the old cemetery of the 16th century and the building of the railway station from 1912 are well preserved in Zywiec.
The main natural attraction in Zywiec, where this live camera is located, is Żywiec Lake, to the shores of which some townspeople come to relax in nature. There are many proposals for a good pastime by the reservoir.
Zywiec, which is streamed online, is famous for its brewery – the factory of the famous Polish beer żywiec is located here. The company organizes guided tours with tasting.
