The picturesque town of La Spezia, where there is an online broadcast from, is located on the coast of the Ligurian Sea in the Liguria region. Nowadays, it is a bustling port city with interesting sights, the main of which is the 12th century Castle of San Giorgio, located at the top of the Colle del Poggio hill. Today the Archaeological Museum works here. At the foot of the citadel stands the pretty Church of Santa Maria Assunta with a sculpture by Andrea della Robbia “Coronation of the Virgin”.
