In front of you in a live view HD camera, there is San Sebastian – the largest city of the Basque Country, one of the most fashionable and expensive Spanish resorts and a paradise for surfers.
San Sebastian, whose coastline is shown in a webcam, is famous for its excellent beaches. The most famous beach of the city in our online broadcast is Playa de la Concha, resembling a crescent moon. It is located in a quiet bay, among dense tropical vegetation.
In the bay near the city in our webcam there is a miniature island of Santa Clara with a small lighthouse at the top. There are sailing yachts scattered around the island. Both sides of the bay are neighboring with two mountains, on the one of which there is a beautiful castle and an amusement park, on the other side there is a monument of Christ.
Another popular beach of San Sebastian, a panoramic view of which is opened in online live camera, is Playa de Ondaretta. There is pure yellow sand and quiet and calm atmosphere. Families with children or surfers come here. This beach is separated from Playa de la Concha by the rock of Pico del Loro with the tunnel.
The beach area of Playa de Zuriola is an excellent open zone for the winds, therefore it is especially popular among surfers. Besides, the beach is equipped with sports fields, beach bars, surf schools and rental boards.
The most interesting place in San Sebastian with our online camera in terms of history is its Old Town of Alde Zaharra. You should visit the baroque basilica of Santa Maria del Coro, the neo-Gothic church of St. Vincent, the ethnographic San Telmo Museum.
In the city there is the Old Quarter (parte vieja) – one big attraction. Its center is decorated with Constitution Square (the former bullfighting arena). Not far from the square there is the Aiete Palace (the former Franco residence), and Miramar Palace (the former residence of Queen Maria Cristina), located between the beaches of Playa de la Concha and Playa de la Ondaretta.
The most amazing museum of San Sebastian, the beach of which is shown online is the Maritime Sea Palace aquarium located at the port.
