There is a live broadcast on the beautiful miniature Italian city of Grosseto, located in Tuscany, 14 km from the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Grosseto, whose panorama is perfectly visible in our webcam, is the main center of the Maremma region. Online camera is located on the Castiglione Castle (Castello Castiglione).
Grosseto, which you can see in the online camera, carefully keeps a large number of historical and architectural monuments. The old part of the city is protected by a hexagonal wall of the 16th century.
From the religious sights one can distinguish the Romanesque Cathedral of San Lorenzo (13th – 15th centuries), where we also have our live broadcast. Later, in the 19th century, the cathedral was reconstructed. The interior of the cathedral contains an amazing 15th-century font and the painting Madonna delle Grazie by Matteo di Giovanni.
Other interesting temples of Grosseto are: the medieval church of San Francesco, the Cathedral of San Pietro, the Misericórdia Church and the Clarissons Monastery with the Bigi Church.
On the outskirts of the city of Grosseto, where our live webcam is located, there is the 12th century church of San Giovanni. In the neighborhood there are the ancient salt mines of Prile Lake. It is interesting to see the Neo-Romanesque Medaglia Miracolosa church near the Palace of the Palazzo delle Poste and the Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus of the 20th century.
Tourists love to visit the Maremma Natural Park. Is worth to visit the medieval Abbey of San Rabano, located very close to the park. In the Diaccia Botrona nature reserve there is another medieval abbey – San Pancrazio al Fango.

If you are looking for a good beach holiday, it is better to go to the beaches of the small resort town of Marina di Grosseto in the province of Grosseto. Take a trip to Florence, Siena or the islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea – Elba, Giglio and Giannutri.
History lovers will enjoy the ancient Etruscan city of Roselle, the medieval buildings in the Batignano, Istia d’Ombrone and Montepescali quarters and the 15th century Villa Alberese (residence of the Grand Dukes of Tuscany).
