The city of Apatity, where the online stream is conducted from, is located beyond the Arctic Circle, on the banks of the Belaya River, among the Khibiny Mountains near Lake Imandra. It is the second largest city in the Murmansk region after Murmansk. Apatity got the city status in 1966.
