Arenzano

Arenzano in the webcam is a miniature town in Liguria and the first resort of the picturesque western Riviera (Riviera di Ponente). Arenzano, where the online broadcast comes from, is literally immersed in greenery and flowers, which is why this area is called the “Riviera of Flowers”.

In another church – St. Bartholomew – preserved treasures of the 16th century. In the center of the olive grove stands the Church of the Annunciation.

The brightest and most popular religious landmark of the city of Arenzano in the online camera is the 17th-century Cathedral of the Infant Jesus of Prague (Santuario Gesù Bambino di Praga). It is a complex with a stunningly beautiful botanical garden, numerous sculptures and thematic expositions. Not far from this cathedral there is the Tower of the Saracens  – the only surviving part of the defensive structure of the 16th century, which protected Arenzano from the attack of sea pirates.

In the very center of the city in a live camera, in the building of a medieval castle (Villa Pallavicini Negrotto Cambiaso), there is a municipality with a chic home garden, which appeared on this territory several centuries ago thanks to the best gardeners in Italy. In the shade of palms and cypresses, it is a great pleasure to take leisurely walks, enjoying flower arrangements. There are also alleys created for special romantic meetings. Brightly colored peacocks roam freely in the park, and ancient turtles and goldfish live in its ponds. There is also a flower greenhouse – the creation of modern florists, which fits perfectly into the general atmosphere of the old park.
